Location: Charlotte, NC (Fully Remote, with Onsite Requirement for Local Candidates)
Duration: 6 months

Position Overview:

Quadlight Corp is seeking an experienced Healthcare Business Analyst with a strong background in Medicare (MA, MAPD, PDP) and expertise in employer group plans.

This is a 6 month contract role, fully remote, but candidates local to Charlotte, NC (within a 20-30 mile radius) will be required to come onsite once a week.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in eligibility file processing, system configuration, and process automation strategies. A deep understanding of UX design principles and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical, operations, and client teams is also essential.

Industry Expertise:

  • Strong background in Medicare (MA, MAPD, PDP) within both individual and employer group plans.
  • Experience with employer eligibility file processing implementations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in writing detailed system configuration requirements and defining process automation strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate with development teams to enable additional system configurations via UI for automation.

UX and Design:

  • Familiarity with high-level UX design principles.
  • Experience in creating wireframes and markup diagrams to support system design discussions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical, operations, and client teams to gather, document, and validate requirements.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of eligibility processing workflows and file structures in the Medicare or employer group plan space.
  • Experience implementing solutions that align with compliance requirements and industry standards.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operational Analysis: Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
  • Modeling: Initiate, participate in, and facilitate data modeling, process modeling, and solution modeling.
  • System Design: Design and document software solutions by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; and writing specifications as needed.
  • System Improvement: Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
  • Controls and Procedures: Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures.
  • Testing and Documentation: Develop testing scenarios and assist with user acceptance testing for system and process changes. Maintain user documentation and provide help desk support and training.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate service-related issues to identify root causes; identify and communicate business needs assessments as necessary.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on trends and issues in the government healthcare insurance space. Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and participation in professional societies.
