Role Description:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python development and a strong background in building web applications and APIs. This role requires strong collaboration skills to define requirements, influence design decisions, and advocate for solution adoption.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to define requirements, influence design decisions, and advocate for the adoption of solutions.
- Experience: 6+ years in Java/J2EE or similar object-oriented programming language, with significant expertise in Python development.
- Web Applications and APIs: Design and development experience in building web applications and APIs.
- Debugging and Security: Expertise in debugging performance issues with code, identifying security issues, and resolving bugs.
- Security Standards: Moderate to expert skills with the latest security standards such as OAuth, OWASP Top 10, and SAML.
- Identity Protocols: Hands-on experience implementing and integrating with identity protocols such as OpenID Connect, OIDC, and SAML.
- API Access Patterns: Strong understanding of API access patterns (B2B, B2C, etc.) and Authentication & Authorization controls using OAuth (OAuth, HMAC, etc.).
- Secure Design: Good understanding of secure design and development practices, including shift-left strategy using SAST & DAST.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience working on one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, or Google Cloud Platform.
